FLUFF is an imaginative work for children and families originally created for QPAC’s Out of the Box Festival for 3 to 8 year olds in 2002.
FLUFF is created and performed by Christine Johnston in collaboration with choreographer/dancer Lisa O’Neill and electronica musician Peter Nelson.
Since its original presentation in 2002, the work has undertaken substantial touring. In 2009 FLUFF featured as part of The Sydney Festival, the Auckland Festival and the Campbelltown Arts Centre holiday season, as well as a return season at QPAC.

Decent Spinsterby Christine Johnston

The concept for Decent Spinster originated through a series of vignettes create by Christine Johnston for various cabaret style performances. The 'spinster' provides the central narraticve for the performance and her methods of imparting observations and social comment are underscored by live musical interaction and accpmpaniment.
The highly interactive music component is provided by the extraordinary talents of musicians/collaborators Trent Arkleysmith, Peter Nelson and Owen Newcomb.

The Visitors

Fusing live bass, guitar, keyboards, synths and drums, with vocals, turntablism and sampling, the four-piece draw on elements of funk, big-beat, acid, dub, disco and more. The Visitors featured Daniel Tainsh (Drums programming) , Andrei Mayberley (guitar / synth and programming) Shannon Carroll (vocals and guitar), Peter Nelson(programming / samples and Turntables) and Tony Potter (Bass). This track also included Anthony Aggs on vocals.

Taxi

Taxi were a local funk / pop band with who were renowned for their high  energy live shows. Featuring Seamus KIrkpatrick (Bass and vocals) Andrew Farnham ( guitar) Michael Duckworth (Drums), River Petein (saxophone ans vocals) and Peter Nelson ( trumpet and vocals). This track is a live performance taken from “The Zoo”

Pico were an electro funk dance act (Owen Newcomb and Peter Nelson) This track features Isobel Bennett.
